Restoration Design was purchased by the deJonge family after encountering difficulty obtaining sheet metal for three restoration projects that were under way. An opportunity to make a more efficient business and to better serve the Porsche market was observed and in August ’09 the business was moved close to home in Ontario, Canada.  Restoration Design is now a family owned and operated company.

Over the course of the last year we have already developed new parts to add to our inventory such as seat bottoms for the long wheel base 911, a pedal area repair panel for the 911, a heel panel for the 911, and a headlight area repair panel for the 356. Purchased in the last six months are a number of machines that would facilitate in-house production of new dies. We are currently working on much needed sheet metal for the 911/912 models such as parcel shelves and rear seat bottoms, as well as aluminum valve covers for the 356/912. We also anticipate making a number of parts for the 914 and 356 models and are eager to hear from the Porsche enthusiasts what parts are needed.

In addition to the new sheet metal parts we produce we are also selling used original panels for the 356, 911, and 914, as well as mechanical parts.

After taking over Restoration Design we made customer service a priority. We stock all our products in house, so that they can be packaged and shipped promptly. To reduce the cost of shipments to our European customers we now have a Belgium Distributor: www.jomaparts.com/en/intro.

We always welcome constructive feedback, if you have any questions or comments we look forward to hearing from you.
